As a nurse practitioner, I take the time to actively listen to my patient's concerns and perspectives. Establishing a welcoming and non-judgmental environment is crucial. I do my best to remain transparent about my role and involve my patients and their families in shared decision-making. Being empathetic and genuine is the best way to maintain trust and provide great care.
