Saw this interesting article in the San Francisco Chronicle about the University of California admissions and their wait lists.

I knew that students could only accept one offer of admission to college, but I didn't realize they could also accept spots on multiple waiting lists.

Looking at the chart below from the article…I was surprised to see some of the numbers!

So the question becomes…would you accept a waiting list spot to get into a school?

Then…if your name came up…and you had already accepted at a different school…would you change your plans?
