Why is a career in the securities industry so rewarding?

When I got into this business, I admit the main goal was to make a good living. I was licensed in 1987 and have certainly made a good living over the past almost 40 years. But that is not the best part of this business. I have been able to help my family and friends achieve financial goals that they would not have had. I have also achieved my goals by following the advice I gave to clients. But by far, the most satisfying achievement is meeting clients many years after I assisted them and being told "I would not have been able to send my kids to college or retire or buy my dream home, without your assistance". That is what this career offers!
