🗣️Hi everyone, I have dyslexia and I’m finding it so hard to stay on track and feel defeated. Do anyone have any recommendations I can use to tackle this or in the same boat ? 😩 I’m so determined to pass !

I also have dyslexia, So I am finding it easier to print out the material and then highlight it and make my notes on that paper or add notes in my binder that go along with the lesson. I also downloaded and printed the Lesson Guide that corresponds to the online courses. that way I can follow along and write notes NEXT TO the slide, instead of trying to keep up with writing notes, listening and writing other things not on the slide.
We can do it! You're not alone! :)

Hi there! I completely understand how challenging it can be to stay on track with dyslexia. One great resource I recommend is the QBank. It’s an excellent tool for training your mind on how to approach multiple-choice questions, which can be really helpful for your studies. I set up a custom quiz and then I say please show answers as you go. I'm not timing myself. I'm just using the questions as a way to review the material.
Remember, I'm just a phone call or email away if you ever need support. I also have dyslexia, and I'm here to help you succeed. We can do hard things together!
Keep pushing forward!

Hello Valerie, I saw and read your comment here in the community. I’m really sorry for what you're going through, and I want you to know that I understand. When you're studying and things get tough, especially with dyslexia, it can be incredibly frustrating.
I recommend taking short breaks of about 5 minutes every so often. If at any point you start to feel overwhelmed, if the letters seem to move or you feel stuck, take a pause. Get up, drink some water, and take three deep breaths to oxygenate your brain and give your mind a break. Just a second to look away from what you were doing. If you're not allergic to almonds, try eating three almonds, chewing them slowly, one by one. This exercise can help "recharge" your brain and improve your focus.
I used to think I was the only one who struggled to concentrate after stressful moments, but I’ve learned that we can use whatever tools we have to find balance. If you ever need more help or advice, don’t hesitate to reach out to Tabitha. She has a lot of experience and can offer you even better advice than mine.
I wish you the best in your studies, and remember, you can do it! You’re not alone in this. I’ll see you at the top!💪
