How long does it take for the DRE to process/approve a sales exam application take? I applied for the Sales exam last week. The processing time indicates they have been working on applications since early May. I would like to know what the timing and process was like for others so I know what to possibly expect.

@Dominique10638230 You can check the DRE website to see how far along they are with processing. As of today, they are working on applications received on May 13, 2024. It typically takes 6 weeks or longer to process the application and do the background check.

I have included the website for you to check on DRE's slow and steady progress.

@Dominique10638230 Most licensees wait until they are licensed to get additional designations. However, in this new market, getting the BAP designation will help you have a jump start on your competition with this designation. Since you have no license, it will just be a designation in name only, you will need your license number to complete the paperwork for your designation. But it's OK, you can't use it right now, but as soon as you print up your business cards, you'll be another step ahead of the competition!

I hope you find this helpful!

@Dominique10638230 We have replaced them with LEARN Sessions. Check your LMS for a calendar of several classes available each week on a variety of subjects. Go to your Learning Management HUB for a calendar. If you are a CA student it would be helpful to attend both CA and National LEARN sessions. They are live and interactive. I'm sure you will find them helpful. Please do two things:

    1. Check to make sure you are in the correct time zone
    2. Make sure you select the correct course
