Final Exams

Hi

I have a question regarding final exams after every unit, I was told the first unit ie real estate principle exam need to be taken after 18 days from purchase, can I take the unit 2 and subsequently unit 3 in a week or need to wait for 18 days for each unit?

@FNU10882648 Hello. It is a DRE rule that students wait 18 days from enrollment to take their first Kaplan final exam. Then, per the DRE, they must wait another 18 days to take their second Kaplan final exam. Then, per the DRE, students must wait another 18 days to take their third Kaplan final exam.

By the way, on Day 54, students don't have to, but can take all three final exams. There are no more restrictions placed on the students 54 days after they enroll in the Kaplan real estate program.

Hi, I have already completed all courses last year and had to re take the real estate practice course due to the 2024 changes. I did it in 3 days and it won't let me take the final. This rule of 18 days shouldn't apply to me since I already completed all courses previously. help! trying to get this done so I can apply for licensee exam.

@Meagan10283229 Hi Meagan. The 18 day rule is a DRE rule, not a Kaplan rule. Unfortunately, you will need to wait 18 days from the date you enrolled in the updated Real Estate Practice class. I know that is not the answer you were hoping to get, but Kaplan must abide by the rules of the DRE. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
