Many agents choose a niche to focus on, allowing them to specialize and better serve their clients.

One growing niche is multi-generational homes, which cater to families living under one roof—whether it’s aging parents moving in, adult children returning home, or extended family cohabiting for financial or cultural reasons.

    🚨

@bobratahan When I practiced real estate my niche was "first time home buyers." I promoted myself by having free seminars including lenders so people new to the market would better understand the process and not be intimidated. I created a booklet with frequently asked questions and allowed the audience to ask any questions they may have. You can do this at almost any location with no fee for the space. I used Title company conference offices or if you have a large office with a conference room, that is great. I know the world of real estate has changed dramatically, but educational seminars can and do bring in buyers.

I choose this niche because I found it to be very satisfying to hand a new buyer keys to their first home. In many cases they may be the first in their family to ever own a home and to see the pride on their face was worth all the time spent with them.
