Studying for the MCAT is mainly a stationary activity. And while it is important, sitting and studying all day can be bad for your health and bad for your mental focus as well. So this is just a little reminder to stand up and walk away from your computer or books when you take study breaks. While the weather is getting colder, it's still a great time to take a short walk outside and get fresh air. This also helps you get in some screen-free time, which is great for your eyes! While walks are great, just doing a quick stretch can also be great for joints that may have gotten stiff during long study sessions. For getting some mental focus and clarity, you can also try a quick meditation session as a study break option, too! Keep up the great work and remember to take mindful study breaks and move your body.
