MCAT Encouragement!!
Hi everyone! My name is Josh, and I am a rising senior at the University of Texas at Austin.
Early this summer I had taken my first MCAT, and came out of it with a mix of fear and relief as do most people. As awaiting the full month for the results, which feels like forever, I kept busy working as an MA at an orthopedics clinic, and spending time with my family in my hometown. The day my results came out I opened it at work between patients (not a good idea) and full transparency, it was not what I was wanting.
If anyone else is in this mode of needing to retake and figuring out how to study now, just know that YOU are not alone. Don't be discouraged! Take some time to reassess what went wrong, and trust your resources on how to fix it. I needed to be real with myself and realize that I did not take my studying as serious as I should have. Recently I have been imagining my end goal, and meditating on my purpose of going through this pre-med path. This has worked as great motivation for me to keep pushing through, and fix my efforts.
Good luck to everyone on their journey and enjoy the rest of your summer!

Love this! I am in the same boat, retesting soon. I'm very nervous but I feel better prepared already than before.
