Discover the Doctor in You: 5 Steps to Jump-Start Your Med School Application (Step 5)
Welcome to Step 5 of our "mini-series!"
So far we've talked about Who You Are, What You Do, Where You Are, and Why You're Interested in Medicine.
Now we'll focus on When You're Applying.
If you plan on submitting your application in Spring 2024 for entrance to medical school in Fall 2025, now is a good time to get started on drafting your personal statement and activities essays for your primary medical school application.
If you're still early in the game, and plan on applying next year (or some time thereafter), it's never too soon to start thinking about building a strong application.
Review the steps we've taken together and write out answers to the questions we've covered.
If you're applying soon, your responses will serve as the raw ingredients for your application.
If you're applying later down the line, this exercise will help you pinpoint areas that need more attention.
Feel free to reach out below with any questions or comments.
Wishing you the best in the process!
