Hi everyone, I've been studying for the mcat since the beginning of October and have barely seen any improvement, and I am taking the exam in April, is this normal?

Hi! Thank you for asking! I want to totally validate and normalize your situation. It takes months for MCAT practice test scores to come up, even with a ton of study. I would look at it like this. Think of a class that you took in college. If you took your final for that class after just a few weeks of being in the class, how would you do? Likely not well because you haven't learned everything for the class yet. The same goes for the MCAT. You're still learning so you're not going to see all the improvement right away. It's likely you won't get to your goal score on a practice test until very close to the exam. So keep up the great work, even though it is frustrating. You got this!
