MCAT Scores are Back!

🚨Hey Future Doctors! 👋
April 22 was a big day! MCAT scores are back! Sending positive vibes to everyone checking their results.
Seriously, HUGE props just for tackling the MCAT beast! Getting to this day alone is a massive win and shows incredible dedication. You should be proud, regardless of the outcome! 🎉
If you hit your goal score – YES! Amazing job! Celebrate yourself, you've earned it! 🥳 Next step: fill out those AMCAS primary applications, which open at the end of May for submission!
If the score isn't what you wanted, take a deep breath.🫁 It's totally okay to be disappointed. But remember, the MCAT is just one piece of the puzzle. It does NOT define you or your ability to be an incredible physician. This is a moment to regroup, but don't give up! 💪 We’re here if you want some advice or to chat about those next steps as well!
This particular set of dates often has a particular scenario that I’d like to dig into more here: do not commit to taking another MCAT unless you’re seeing practice test scores in range of your goals!! We very frequently see students have a very short turnaround ↪️, and end up taking the MCAT again way too soon, resulting in an additional score that’s similar or even a drop in score. Don’t let this be you!! Medical schools care how many times you take the MCAT, so be cautious about this plan!
