✨Thanks once again to all of you who joined our "Prep Smarter, Not Harder" Live AMA event with MCAT tutor/instructors Lily Harrington and Rohit Gupta, MD!✨

As promised, we will be sharing out the questions you asked along with the answers from our experts. Here's the first Q&A!

Question:

What is something you wish you knew when you began studying for the MCAT?

Answer from MCAT Tutor/Instructor, Lily Harrington:

"One thing I wish I knew when I started studying for the MCAT was that I wasn't inherently bad at physics. I had struggled with it initially and felt frustrated and scared. I thought, 'Someone taught me this before, and it didn't go well. How am I going to teach it to myself?' But as I studied, I realized I wasn't inherently bad at it. I just needed to find different learning styles. I wish I could tell myself that my ability to learn physics wasn't static. I want tutoring students to understand this too. Your ability to learn a subject or improve at CARS isn't fixed; it's something you can work on, and a tutor can help you find effective strategies. Also, I wish I had understood earlier that Reddit is not always a helpful resource for MCAT studying."
