Hello, future lawyers, and good to meet you! My name is Kalee and I've been teaching LSAT for Kaplan for 19 years (I guess in a few weeks we'll make it an even 20!). Before that, I earned my J.D. from Columbia Law School. In my spare time, I love reading, sipping dark coffee, listening to Hamilton, and cheering on my students to their highest potential! :)

Please use this forum for any questions you may have - there's a whole team of us here to support you! If you have questions about the resources, the strategies, any specific LSAT question, your timeline, admissions, or anything LSAT-related, we are here for you.

    Hello LSAT friends!

Stuart here, a lifelong Torontonian - except for the 3 years that I attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver for law school.

I taught my first Kaplan class waaaay back in 1989 (if you weren't born yet, I don't really need to know that) while I was still in undergrad at the University of Toronto and have been a test prep junkie ever since.

I can confidently say that all Kaplan teachers ๐Ÿ’– questions, so take advantage of our expertise - we're here to help!

Greetings, Future Lawyers - It is nice to see you here. I am Joe Miles. I have been teaching LSAT for close to 30 years. In that time, I have tutored, taught, and mentored many Future Lawyers. It is thrilling to engage with people looking to kick off their careers in law. A long time ago, I had my own criminal defense practice in South Florida. I am a big (often heartbroken) fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Flyers. I also enjoy cooking and listening to music. Until we meet again, I hope to see you all further on down the line. As the LSAT is skills-based test, I leave you with my usual sign-off - Keep Practicing, Future Lawyers!

  • Hello all! Jeff Boudreau here, LSAT teacher and tutor since 2006. The challenges the LSAT offers can be good funโ€”I promise!โ€”and if you can have some fun while studying, it will be much easier to be consistent in your prep. Besides enjoying the LSAT and helping students reach their goals, I read and write fantasy/sci-fi novels and love traveling, both for the new views and new foods.

As I'm sure you've noticed, we have a bunch of very veteran LSAT teachers here, which means that hurdle you're facing in your studies? The one you're not sure how to overcome? We've got you! 99% of the time we've dealt with it before and can provide a solution to you. So don't be shy with questions! The only bad one is the one that doesn't get asked =)

    Hi All!

Am excited to study for the LSAT. I do have an issue. I took my first practice test, and the score is showing on LawHub, but I cannot review it or find the exam anywhere. I have emailed support, but it is the holidays. Any ideas where I can find my test without getting an error that says โ€œthis page does not exist?

    Prov

  • Hi Prov,

Great work on completing your first practice test! You can access it in Kaptest by going under Study Plan โ€”> Practice Library โ€”> Digital PrepTest Library โ€”> PrepTest (number) โ€”> Review PrepTest (number).

To do this, you'll need to have your Kaptest account linked to LawHub. If they are not linked, our customer service team can help you, but you're right that they're likely closed for the holiday for the next 2 days. You can reach them at 1-800-KAP-TEST Mon-Fri, 10am-5pm Eastern (on non-holiday days) and ask for them to send you the LawHub linking email, and they will help you get set.

In the meantime, you can still start to review your test with Kaplan another way! At the bottom of the left-hand column under Study Plan, click "Explanation PDFs." You can open and download a PDF of the full explanations to the test you took, and review question by question.

Let me know if this works!

    -Kalee :)

  • How's it going everyone? I just registered on the site to start studying for the LSAT. Quick question, can anyone tell me where I need to go to on the site to take a practice LSAT to get my baseline? Thanks!

  • Hi James! First, you'll need to have paid access to LawHub Advantage through LSAC: https://www.lawhub.org/LawHubAdvantage

And you will need to have that account connected to your Kaplan account.

Once that is done, in your Kaptest account, go to Study Plan โ€”> Practice Library โ€”> Digital PrepTest Library โ€”> PrepTest 153 โ€”> Take PrepTest 153. This should open the test in LawHub, where you will take it.

Make sure to have about 2 1/2 hours set aside to take the test all in one go. Give yourself the 10-minute break you get between sections 2 and 3 - you will want it and need it. All the best! Let me know if I can help further.
