For students entering into their sophomore year next year, here is what they need to know:

-This is the year they will want to get into some AP classes. Learn more about AP classes and their advantages «« here!

-Practice/Hone in on study skills. This will be the foundation they will build upon through their HS career and into college.

-Keep the focus on GPA as this will also open opportunities for Dual Enrollment/dual credit.

-Study for the PreACT, PSAT 10, and PSAT NMSQT (this one isn't the one that qualifies the student for scholarships but it will get them practice and the opportunity to see where they are and where they can improve their score.
-Get involved with summer projects, internships, and volunteering, and explore interests that will set them up for your junior year.
