Question: What is the most common question you get as an advisor?
Answer: "The most common question I get is, are we doing the right things? And this is from a parent from any grade level? Really. So from 9th grade, 10th grade, 11th grade, they're all thinking, are we doing the right things? Is my student taking the right courses so that they're competitive for selective college admissions? Are they in the right activities? Are they in enough activities? Are they in too many? So it's always these questions around just what you know what are selective colleges looking for? And is my student competitive for those colleges? I think that parents and students just hear the news, see the news and see that those acceptance rates are plummeting. And it's not enough anymore to have, like a perfect Gpa where you have all A's. It's a very competitive landscape with selective colleges. And sometimes it's, you know, it's more than just the academic side which I know we're going to talk about today in this session."
