Meet The Team: Julie Hamilton, MSN, RN
Julie has been a registered nurse for over 30 years. She began her career as a Women’s Health Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree through Regis University in Denver Colorado with a focus on Leadership in Health Care Systems and Education. Her experience as an established educator has allowed her to pursue many different career opportunities within the academia arena including becoming an interim program chair, developing nursing curricula, establishing new nursing programs, and a professional presenter at the local, state and national levels. Julie currently serves as a Nurse Educator Consultant.
Philosophy: Education is a journey. Students need guidance and support on this journey to help them reflect on and understand their experiences. Nursing faculty fosters this process. A Nurse Consultant has a unique opportunity to assist faculty in identifying opportunities for growth and developing productive solutions. The relationship between the faculty and consultant is enhanced over time. The connection we make is important to achieving positive outcomes. Julie promotes success by connecting and supporting all members of the team to make the process a unique experience.
