Meet The Team: Meredith Ashley, MSN, RN
I have over 20 years of nursing experience, with more than half of that time devoted to nursing education. I received my BSN from The University of Texas at Tyler and subsequently completed my MSN at Lamar University.
My love for nursing education began when I worked as a simulation coordinator for an associate degree program, where I helped build simulations with fellow educators for undergraduate nursing students. Over the years, I have served in various roles in education, including lead faculty/professor, ADN program director, and nursing department chair.
Currently, I serve as an Academic Nurse Consultant for Kaplan Nursing. Encouraging and celebrating student success, as well as mentoring and modeling excellence in teaching and learning with faculty, are what drive my passion for nursing education.
