'Tis the Season to Persevere: Staying Motivated During Holiday Bar Prep

It's easy to lose motivation during the holidays when surrounded by festivities and distractions. But remember why you're working so hard!

Here's how to stay focused on your goal:

  • Remember Your "Why": Reflect on your long-term goals and the reasons why passing the bar is important to you. You have completed three years of law school and already come so far – there is light at the end of the tunnel!
  • Celebrate Milestones: Acknowledge your progress and give yourself credit for sticking to your study plan, even during the holidays.
  • Visualize Success: Imagine yourself confidently taking the bar exam and achieving your dreams. Picture yourself waking up as results are released, logging onto your profile and seeing the words ‘Congratulations! You have passed the Bar Exam!’
  • Connect with Your Support System: Lean on friends, family, or fellow bar preppers for encouragement and motivation. Bar prep can be lonely, but it does not have to be. Remember, it takes a village.

You've got this! With a little planning and self-care, you can conquer the holidays and the bar exam.
