Hello! I am David Mannaioni, Dean of Financial Planning. While the majority of my time is spent on the work of the three departments I oversee, I teach the Master's course on the financial planning process and insurance (PFPL510). I am also a practicing financial planner with a Master's degree in financial planning and the CFP® certification along with several other professional designations. My fun fact is I am an NFL owner holding one share of the Green Bay Packers, Inc.

Hi! I'm Dr. Sara Stolberg Berkowicz, Chair of the Advisor Development Department and an associate professor at the College for Financial Planning, specializing in the areas of retirement, divorce financial planning, and money psychology. Courses in my department include CFP® capstones, master's level client psychology and behavioral finance, and the ABFP designation.
I am a lifelong learner! In addition to my MS and PhD in financial planning, I have earned the CFP® certification as well as the ABFP, CDFA®, CRPC®, CRPS®, and CSRIC® designations. I hold licenses and registrations for securities, insurance, tax preparation, real estate, collaborative dispute resolution, and divorce and family mediation. I'm never done - I'll post updates as I continue to take courses at the College and beyond.
My fun fact is that I once held a license to cater out of my apartment in Los Alamos, New Mexico. I never irradiated the food!

Hello! I'm Dr. Barclay Roper, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Financial Analysis and Investment Management at the College for Financial Planning. My areas of expertise include Investments, Portfolio Management, and Financial Data Analytics.
In 2025, I'm excited to teach and support courses such as Quantitative Methods (FINA525), Financial Statement Analysis (ACCT545), and the Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (APMA®) designation.
A fun fact about me is that I have a passion for humanitarian service! Last year, my family and I spent six months helping orphans in Ecuador. It was a wonderful experience for all of us, and we hope to have the opportunity to do it again soon.

Hello, everyone!
My name is Tom Robinson. I am a professor and Chair of the Financial Analysis and Investment Management Department at the College for Financial Planning. I've been involved in financial services and education for over 35 years now, and I'm excited to share my experiences with you all.
I've worn many hats throughout my career – I've been a CPA and CFP practitioner, the CEO of AACSB International, and the Managing Director of Education for CFA Institute. I've also had the pleasure of teaching at the University of Miami, where I developed a passion for personal financial planning education.
I'm passionate about helping students succeed in the financial planning field. I believe that everyone has the potential to achieve financial security, and I'm committed to providing you with the tools and knowledge you need to reach your goals.
I have lived and worked in the US and Asia and enjoy traveling with my wife and our two children.
I'm looking forward to getting to know each of you better. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or just want to chat.
Best regards,
Tom Robinson

Hey students. I am Dr. Aman Sunder, the Dean of the Graduate Programs and Advanced Designations. Therefore, I support (drumroll…..) the MS degree and advanced designation programs. My expertise is in teaching financial planning and research related to policy, diversity, and investments. My latest interest is the integration of AI in higher education (no surprises there).
A fun fact about me—I worked in railway signaling and industrial automation before transitioning into academia! But all of that is in the past now. Nowadays, I find myself enjoying exploring how AI can transform financial education and the profession.
I’d love to hear something interesting about you! Looking forward to a great year ahead!

Hi! I'm Professor Cindy Riecke, chair of the Financial Literacy department, which supports the Financial Planning Qualified Professional (FPQP), Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS), and Qualified Personal Finance Educator (QPFE) programs, as well as other fundamental financial courses. I've helped financial professionals further their careers through education for many years and helped clients financially plan for their futures.
I've served as chair of CFP Board's Education council and was instrumental in developing the guidelines for the CFP Ethics course. While I enjoy managing my department and its faculty, chairing college committees, and researching, I like designing courses and being in the classroom teaching them most.
Hmm… fun fact about me. My husband and children LOVE hiking, but we live in an area that is only 13 feet about sea level. Makes for a lot of road trips to the mountains!
