From the WSJ this week, the Dow and the S&P 500 both set new highs so far this month. The Fed is indicating there may be interest rate decreases later this year which will likely be good for the bond market. All good news for now. On the other hand, consumer debt, especially credit card balances, is increasing and bank are seeing more charge offs. The concern is that the surge in inflation and prices left people with fewer resources little choice but to use credit to get by. No so good news. What is your outlook for the first half of 2024? I am going to wait a bit to ask about your thoughts on the later part of the year as the election will probably have some effect on that.
