There have been numerous articles over the past year on the challenge of getting employees to go back to the offices they worked in before the pandemic. Some employees relocated when their company went virtual to take advantage of a lower cost of living in another area. Others say they don't want to go back because they've gotten very comfortable working from home and don't see the need to return to the office. Meanwhile, the vacancy rate in commercial buildings, and especially in city centers, remains quite high.

What do you see as the future for commercial real estate?
