One of the most common questions we hear from designation holders: where do I find the required list of approved CE courses?

Here is the answer that surprises many alumni. There is no required catalog. You have the flexibility to choose the CE provider and courses that best fit your practice, your interests, and your schedule.

Here is what you need to know:The requirement. To renew your designation, you must complete 16 CE credits within your two-year renewal cycle. For MPAS designees, the requirement is 40 CE credits. During renewal, you will attest that you have completed the necessary credits. The topics. Many designation holders complete their credits across a wide range of subjects, including ethics, estate planning, investments, tax planning, accounting, securities licensing, and Investment Adviser Representative (IAR) coursework. Review all applicable subject matter topics under Step 2 of the Designation Renewal Guide: https://www.kaplanfinancial.com/wealth-management/continuing-education/renewal

The paperwork. You do not need to submit CE documentation when you renew. Your credits do not need to be reported or approved beforehand. Just complete them, then keep copies of your certificates of completion, official transcripts, or grade reports for your records. If you are randomly selected for a CE audit, you will receive an email with instructions to submit your proof. What counts as proof. Certificates or letters of attendance or completion, grade reports, and official transcripts.

Each document must show your name, the program name, the sponsor name, the date and location of the program, the number of CE credits earned, and the sponsor's signature. Screenshots, photographs, spreadsheets, forwarded emails, and PDF screenshots of certificates are not acceptable.Prefer to complete your CE right here at the College?
