What steps do you need to take after the final exam?

After you pass the final exam, are there any further steps you need to take for certification application or is the process/submission automatic?

    Thank you for your post, and congratulations on recently earning the FPQP® designation!

    Yes, there is one additional step after passing the exam. Before you may use the FPQP® and Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ registered marks, you must complete the final requirement for the designation—the designation application—within six months of completing the program.

    Please sign in to your account at home.kaplanlearn.com/designations to complete the online designation application no later than 07/03/2026. During this process, you will complete the application and attest to the Standards of Professional Conduct.

    If you have any questions, you can reach Student Services at 800-237-9990, option 2. Representatives are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time, excluding holidays.
