Don’t Forget Your CE! Stay on Track for Renewal
Let’s keep your designation active and your knowledge sharp.

Have you reviewed your CE status recently? Staying current with your Continuing Education (CE) isn’t just about meeting a requirement — it’s about maintaining credibility, staying compliant, and continuing to grow as a financial professional.

Here’s a quick refresher:

  • You need 16 CE credits every two years to keep your designation active.
  • All CE must be completed before your renewal deadline — don’t cut it close!
  • CE must be from an approved provider and meet specific course criteria.

💬 When it’s time to renew, you’ll attest that you’ve completed the 16 CE credits — no documents required at that moment. But hang on to your certificates! If selected for a CE audit, you’ll need to provide proof of completion.

📚 Need CE that counts?
Browse the College for Financial Planning CE Catalog to find approved courses that are relevant and high-impact.
Make sure your documentation includes:
✔ Your name
✔ Course title
✔ Sponsor name
✔ Number of CE credits
✔ Completion date

💡 Pro Tip: Choose CE with real-world applications, case studies, or instructor guidance to get the most from your time.
