👑What is VITA U, and why did CFFP attend this conference?

As I mentioned in last week's post, I had the opportunity to join @AmanSunder_CFFP, @AmyRell_CFFP & @DavidMannaioni_CFFP at the VITA U conference in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 last month, where I not only learned about the program but also discovered why CFFP has been attending this conference year after year. Read below to learn about what VITA U is and why CFFP participated in the conference, from @AmanSunder_CFFP!
"VITA U is a joint initiative between the VITA programs in Puerto Rico and the University of Georgia. Initially, there was no plan to attend the conference. However, three years ago, I was working on a research project with the University of Georgia (UGA) that was presented at the first VITA U conference. David joined the first conference due to his involvement in co-curricular, pro bono, and financial literacy initiatives at CFFP. The last conference was in Athens, GA (as they alternate between PR and Athens, GA every year). David and I both presented at that conference and made friends. This is where the CoVITA concept originated. This year we had more presentations and a greater CoVITA partnership with the VITA PR and IRS PR teams." -Dr. Aman Sunder
