Did You Know? Key Accreditations That Set Us Apart

The College for Financial Planning holds several important accreditations and follows strict guidelines to ensure we provide the best education for financial planning professionals. Here's how we do it:
🔹 Higher Learning Commission (HLC): We’ve been accredited by HLC since 1994. This means our programs meet high academic standards and are recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
🔹 National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA): We follow NC-SARA’s guidelines, allowing us to offer online courses in most states (except California) with consistent standards.
🔹 Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE): We report important data to CDHE each year, ensuring that we follow all necessary rules to operate in Colorado.
🔹 North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA): Our designations are recognized and follow the rules set by NASAA, making them valid across the country (except for some California-specific restrictions).
🔹 Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE): We are registered with BPPE to offer online courses in California. This helps protect your investment in education through the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF).
🔹 CFP® Board Registered Program: Our CFP® Certification Education Program is registered with the CFP® Board, meeting their high standards for financial planning programs.
These accreditations and regulations ensure that you’re getting top-quality education and support throughout your financial planning career! 📚✨
