Daylight Saving Time (DST) is here, bringing longer evenings and more sunshine! While we adjust our clocks (and our sleep schedules), here are some fun facts to brighten your day:

1️⃣ Benjamin Franklin had the idea first! 🧐 He suggested adjusting sleep schedules to save candles back in 1784—but DST didn’t become official until much later.
2️⃣ Not everyone follows it! 🌍 Hawaii, most of Arizona, and several countries skip the time change entirely.
3️⃣ It’s not just about saving daylight! Some studies suggest DST may help reduce energy consumption, though the effects vary by location.
4️⃣ More sunshine = more fun! ☀️ Many people use the extra daylight for outdoor activities, evening strolls, and even boosting their mood!
5️⃣ Farmers didn’t love it! 🚜 Contrary to popular belief, DST wasn’t created for farmers—they actually opposed it because it disrupted their schedules!
