✨High Schoolers Taking the ACT Tomorrow!
Hi, parents and guardians! Tomorrow is a big day for some of our high schoolers. 💜
As they get ready to take the ACT tomorrow, we know you’re doing everything you can to support them, and we’re here to help! Here are some test day reminders from the ACT website on what your student needs to know to be ready for tomorrow.
✅ What to Bring:
- Admission Ticket: Make sure they have a printed copy.
- Acceptable Photo Identification: A valid, unexpired photo ID is required.
- Number 2 Pencils: Bring several sharpened No. 2 pencils with good erasers.
- Watch or Other Timing Device: A simple watch (without an audible alarm or internet access) can help them manage their time.
- Calculator: Ensure it's an approved model. Click here to double-check the ACT calculator policy if you're unsure.
- Snacks: Pack some approved snacks and drinks for the breaks.
🚫 What Not to Bring:
- Textbooks, Dictionaries, Notes, or Other Aids: All test materials are provided.
- Highlighter Pens, Colored Pens/Pencils, or Correction Fluid/Tape: Only No. 2 pencils are permitted for marking answers.
- Any Electronic Device (other than a permitted calculator and acceptable watch): This includes phones, smartwatches, fitness trackers, and any device with internet access.
- Reading Material: No outside reading materials are allowed in the testing room.
