🚨

Where you'll actually sit for the bar exam will likely be determined by where you want to live and work after law school. This is something that can change during your years in law school and that's okay! However, you must decide on your jurisdiction by the time bar exam registration for that jurisdiction opens, which will be sometime during your 3L year. Each state has it's own rules and timelines for the application process, so be sure to check the Board of Law Examiners website for the state(s) you are considering.
