CFA Level 3 Private Markets Specialization Study Material

Hi,

I used Kaplan for my past exams and loved the material. I am taking the CFA Level 3 in February 2025. This is the first exam that CFA have 3 different study pathways (Portfolio Management, Private Markets and Private Wealth) and I selected Private Markets.

My question is: as this is the first time CFA have the Private Markets specialization, how does Kaplan build the study material, videos, mock exam and QBank? In comparison to other levels (or Portfolio Management for lvl 3), Kaplan had the opportunity to continuously refine their study materials making it better every year. How can I be assured the study materials (and very importantly the mock and QBank) will accurately reflect the material tested as there is no precedent.
